About

So if you came by my blog by fluke, you may be wondering who is this person?

Well, I’m Danielle, an intern-hopping, globe trotting, 20 something with a desire to do some good in the world. This blog will feature stories and thoughts on my experience as an intern in the Coady Youth In Partnership Program, which will see me spend six months working with Women for Change in Lusaka, Zambia.

Please feel free to come back and share in my adventures whenever you have some time!

For those of you that are curious about my blog’s name, it’s stolen from one of my all time favourite travel quotes…

‘We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if we only seek them our eyes open.’

I think Nehru really knew what he was talking about when he said that. Our world is full of those and many other wondrous features and through my travels I’m always awed and inspired by the world that is. I hope my experiences and stories here will let me share some of my wonder with you.

  1. Mulibwanji!
I came across your blog via the Coady Institute and wanted to send some far away well wishes. I was a Coady YIP intern at Women for Change in 2007, so I always like to hear when new interns have arrived there. Zambia is a beautiful, special place – I think of it and my time at Women for Change often. I hope you’re enjoying Lusaka so far! I look forward to following your updates. Please say hello to everyone for me!
